The last statistics are placing France between the OECD countries with higher number of civil servants. Despite of the decrease of their number in the last years, they are still almost twice as much as in Germany or Netherlands. Thus, France accounts 90 civil servants per 1000 inhabitants, the majority of them employed in the public education sector. It is therefore surprising that most of the French citizens are unhappy with the quality of their public services…
